Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
For purposes of this Policy, "cookies" include cookies and other similar tracking technologies as defined under the EU ePrivacy Directive relating to electronic communications.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files containing data that are created by websites you visit. They are stored on a visitor's device and enable access to various website functions. On the UModeler website, both session cookies and persistent cookies are used.
Session cookies are temporarily stored in the memory of a user's device while the user browses the website. These cookies are deleted when the user closes the web browser or after a certain period of time has passed (i.e., when the session expires). Persistent cookies remain stored on the user's device until their preset expiration date or until they are manually deleted by the user.
Cookies are used to understand how visitors interact with our content and to improve the website experience. These cookies help maintain the proper functionality of the website, analyze how users interact with UModeler services, continuously improve the site environment, and provide a better user experience.
Types of cookies and tracking technologies used by UModeler
UModeler uses the following types of automatic collection technologies for the stable operation of the website and service improvement.
Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are necessary to provide core website functions and are automatically activated without the user's consent. These cookies perform functions such as maintaining login status, enabling security features, and saving language preferences, and collect only the minimum information necessary for use of the website.
To prevent abuse, non-identifiable device identification information (such as browser fingerprinting technology) may be used. In addition, UModeler collects minimal non-identifiable technical data through PostHog to verify the normal operation of the Unity Asset Store service, track errors, and ensure service availability. Such data is treated as essential for the provision of the service.
These cookies are generally deleted when the session ends, and if users disable them, certain features of the website may not function properly.
Analytics and Performance Cookies
UModeler uses PostHog and Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to analyze website visitor statistics and user behavior data. Analytics cookies operate based on anonymous identifiers that distinguish individual browsers or devices, allowing the collection of data such as whether the same user returns to the website, page views, average time spent, city-level location information, and device type.
However, where a user has logged in to certain services such as PicoBerry, data including account information may be collected through PostHog in an identifiable form for the purpose of smooth service provision and optimization of the customized environment. In the case of the Unity Asset Store (& China), users are provided with an opt-out function through which they may directly block such collection.
This information is aggregated and used for internal analysis purposes to improve site quality and optimize the user experience. Some cookies may remain for up to two (2) years, while others may operate on a one-minute basis for session tracking or rate-limiting purposes. Analytics cookies are activated only after the user has given explicit consent.
In addition, some web pages may communicate with third-party data providers to analyze users' digital behavior data. In such cases, all collected information is processed in anonymized and aggregated form and cannot be used to directly identify individual users.
How can you refuse or delete cookies?
UModeler values users' privacy, and non-essential cookies are not collected without the user's consent. Users also have the right to choose whether to accept cookies. Users may block all or some cookies by clicking the Cookie Settings management button at the bottom of the website or through their browser settings.
Please note that blocking essential cookies may restrict the basic functions of the website. Most browsers can also be configured to notify users when cookies are stored, enabling users to choose whether to accept individual cookies.
Except as expressly stated in this Policy (including the collection of personally identifiable information after login to PicoBerry), UModeler does not collect personally identifiable information of visitors through cookies.
Cookies set by other third-party providers' websites may also be refused or blocked by changing browser settings. For more information, please refer to the Help function of the browser you are using.

Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. If there are material changes, we will provide separate notice on the website.
