Compare Generation

Generate 2–4 3D models from the same prompt or image at once, compare them side by side, and carry on with the one you like. Compare generation is 5% off.

It's hard to know in advance which 3D engine suits an object. Compare multiple models runs the same input through 2–4 models in one go and lines the results up side by side in the 3D viewer. Pick the one you like and carry straight on to remesh, texture, or animation — and compare generation takes 5% off each model's credits.

Start a comparison

  1. Choose Model in the tool bar on the left, and add an image or a prompt on the Image to 3D or Text to 3D tab.
  2. Open the AI model picker and turn on the Compare multiple models switch at the top. A few recommended models are preselected.
  3. Pick 2–4 models to compare. Below the list you'll see how many are selected and the discounted total.
  4. Close the picker and the Compare Generation view opens where the 3D viewer was. Each tile shows its model name and a Polygons slider, so you can set a separate polygon target per model.
  5. Press Generate N-model comparison. The button shows the total credits and the 5% discount.

Each model is saved to your library as its own 3D model, and the tiles fill in as each one finishes.

Rules that keep it fair

  • Every model gets the same prompt (or image) and the same seed, so the differences come from the models alone.
  • Texture on/off and Texture Resolution apply to every model. If a model doesn't offer the chosen resolution, it uses one it supports.
  • When comparing from an image, only the front image is used (multi-view side images are left out), and the Batch tab is hidden while you compare.
  • A model that doesn't support the current input (such as Meshy 7 on the Text to 3D tab) is marked Not for this input and can't be generated as-is. Remove it with × or generate it from the other tab.

Comparing the results

The tiles share one camera: rotate or zoom any tile and all of them follow. Under each tile you'll see the model name, its stage (Original, Remesh, Texture, Animation), and the credits it used. The toolbar at the top offers:

  • Display — turn Auto Rotate and Showcase lighting on or off.
  • Wireframe — overlay the mesh structure.
  • Solid / PBR and Texture channel (Albedo · Roughness · Metallic · Normal) — switch shading and channels on every tile at once.
  • Grid / Slider — lay the tiles out in a grid, or, with two models, use Slider to stack them in one view and drag the divider between them.
  • Reset view · Add tile · Close.

If one model fails, only its tile shows Generation failed, and the credits for that failed generation are refunded automatically.

Pick one and keep going

Press Continue with this on the tile you like. That model becomes the selected asset in your workspace and the comparison closes. From there, continue with Remesh & Retexture, UV Unwrap, Animation, or Export as usual. The results you didn't pick stay in your library.

If you close the comparison while models are still generating, you'll be asked to confirm. Closing doesn't stop them — they keep going and are saved to your library when done (Don't ask again turns this prompt off).

Other ways into the compare view

  • Models you already have — select 2–4 3D models in the library and press 비교 (Compare) in the selection bar. Nothing new is generated, so it costs no credits.
  • Suggestions — switch to a different model right after generating with one, and you'll see "Compare them side by side?". Compare both runs a comparison with the two models. If you already generated with a second model separately, View side by side in "View the two results side by side?" opens both in the compare view at no extra cost.
  • Mobile — after closing the comparison, reopen it with the Resume compare · N button. On mobile, tiles show thumbnails instead of live 3D.
