The Workspace is where you create. After signing in, click Workspace in the top menu to open it — hover over the menu to jump straight into a tool such as Text → Image or Image → 3D.
Screen layout
On desktop the screen has four parts:
- Header — the Workspace, Explore, Collections, and Resources menus, plus Customer Support (the headset icon), the workspace switcher, your credit balance, notifications, and your account menu on the right.
- Left panel — a floating window holding the tool bar and the generation panel for the selected tool. The prompt, input image, AI model, options, and Generate button all live here. Drag its edge to resize it.
- Center — the 3D viewer. With the Image tool selected, the image feed appears here instead.
- Right panel — your 3D library. It's hidden while the Image tool is selected.
Tools
Use the tool bar on the left to choose what to do. There are six tools:
- Image — generate 2D images from a prompt. → Text to Image
- Model — generate a 3D model from an image or text. Switch input with the Image to 3D (default) / Text to 3D tabs at the top of the panel. → Image to 3D, Text to 3D
- Remesh — rebuild a finished model's polygons. → Remesh & Retexture
- UV — re-lay a model's UVs (paid plans). → UV Unwrap
- Texture — keep a model's shape and re-apply only the texture. → Remesh & Retexture, Styling with PB Palette
- Animation — rig a character and apply motion. → Animation
The tool you used last opens again on your next visit.
Picking a source model
Tools that refine an existing model — Remesh, UV, Texture, and Animation — use the Source Model card at the top of the panel. Click a model in the library on the right, or click the card and choose from the Your Models or Collections tab of Select 3D Model.
The Generate button and job status
The Generate button shows the job's credit cost (and, for 3D, the estimated time). Press it and a card appears in your library right away, showing its status (Generating · Remeshing · Texturing · Rigging …) and the elapsed time until the result arrives. Failed jobs have their credits refunded automatically, and the card offers Retry.
Getting started
If you don't have any 3D models yet, the center shows sample images under "Start from an image". Click one and it becomes the input for Image to 3D; press Generate to turn it into a 3D model. Next batch shows samples in other styles.
Have an image of your own? Drag it onto the 3D viewer or paste it (⌘V / Ctrl+V). With the Model tool open, it becomes the input for Image to 3D (PNG, JPG, or WebP, up to 20 MB). Generation starts only when you press Generate.
Library
3D library (right panel)
Your 3D models stack up here, newest first. The bar at the top lets you:
- Search — find models by name.
- Filter by type — All / Model (no texture) / Textured.
- Refresh.
- Switch views — Grouped view (default) puts an original model and everything made from it (remesh, texture, animation, UV results) in one row; Grid view lays them all out as same-size cards.
- Upload — add a 3D model of your own (see below).
Click a card to open it in the 3D viewer, with the asset info panel underneath. A card's menu (⋮) offers Rename · UV Unwrap · Add to Collection · Delete, plus Move to group / Move to personal in a team workspace. To download a 3D model, use the toolbar under the 3D viewer (Export).
Image feed
With the Image tool selected, the image feed fills the center. Each generation request is one row, and every image offers actions like turning it into 3D, removing its background, or iterating on it. → Editing & Re-generating
Selecting several items
Click the round check mark on a card and the selection bar appears. You can Organise (add to a collection), Delete, or Download (Download as ZIP / Download individually; 3D downloads as GLB) everything you've selected. Select 2–4 3D models and 비교 (Compare) lines them up in the compare view.
Uploading 3D models (paid plans)
You can also upload 3D models you made yourself and run them through PicoBerry's Remesh, UV, Texture, and Animation tools.
- Click the Upload button next to the search field in the 3D library on the right.
- Drop a file or click to browse — GLB · FBX · OBJ · STL · ZIP, up to 100 MB per file, one file at a time.
- When the upload finishes, the model appears in your library with an Upload badge.
- Uploading costs no credits.
- For an FBX with separate texture files, zip it together with its texture folder and upload the ZIP. Uploading the bare FBX leaves its external textures behind.
- Uploaded models are always private and never appear in Explore. Downloading one again in the same format (FBX, OBJ) gives you the original file you uploaded.
- Uploading works on desktop only, and on the Free plan the button carries a crown.
Collections
Group related work into collections (folders). Create and manage them from Collections in the top menu; you can also nest a New Sub-collection inside one. Deleting a collection doesn't delete the assets in it.
- The Free plan can have 1 collection, Starter up to 10, and Pro and above have no limit.
- Works you ☆ in Explore collect in the built-in Starred collection, which doesn't count toward the limit.
Storage limit (Free plan)
The Free plan keeps up to 20 3D models. Only original models count (generated, uploaded, or remix copies from Explore); remesh, texture, animation, and UV results and images don't. At 15, a Storage Usage notice appears above the library, and at 20 you can't start new 3D work — delete some models or upgrade. Paid plans have no limit.
Personal / team workspace
By default you work in your private Personal workspace. If you're on a MAX team, use the workspace switcher in the header to change to the Team workspace, where up to 4 people share the same assets and credits. Switching changes the library and collections, and new results save to whichever workspace is open. If you're not on a team, Team shows a MAX only badge. → MAX Team Sharing
Mobile
On a phone, you move around with the Image · Generate · 3D buttons at the bottom.
- Generate — opens the current tool's generation panel as a sheet from the bottom.
- 3D — shows the 3D viewer with a strip of your 3D model thumbnails below. Tap a thumbnail to open it; long-press it or tap ⋯ for Remesh · UV Unwrap · Texture · Animation · Add to Collection · Delete.
- Swipe left or right to move between the Image and 3D screens.
